My early days were dotted with artistic projects - creating "Choose Your Own Adventure" books under my blankets at one in the morning, developing elaborate comic book characters with long backstories, trying to reproduce Salvador Dali's "The Burning Giraffe" in oil pastel. And then when the practicality of college set in, I promptly developed creative amnesia. Two years into school at the University of New Hamphire with a major in Hydrology (Water Physics and Engineering), I woke up from my slumber and realized that my heart and future were in art and design. Though my days as an amateur scientist still inform my work, I've never looked back.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire and an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from McIntosh College. With a wide variety of work experiences under my belt, I now live and work in Newmarket, NH, a small historic mill town an hour outside of Boston, and just outside of Portsmouth, NH. And just close enough to the seashore to recharge my batteries when they need it.
Some of my passions include sustainability (see: Philosophy), independent film, literature, vegetarian cuisine, classic cartoon shorts, retro packaging design, art nouveau, and believe it or not, I still like a little theoretical physics every now and then...
